We are the champions......well, one of them!

LCM has been made a Founder Champion of Business Southampton, following our sponsorship of the initiative to boost business and economic growth in Southampton.

As one of only a handful of Founder Champions we have helped to promote the consumer brand of Southampton, Sea City, on a local and national level, encouraging visitors to the city to stay and take part in the many sea-related events, attractions and activities which are taking place all the time in the city, and to reinforce the message to residents that Southampton is a great place to live.

Sally Lynskey, CEO of Business Southampton, said, "The City Champions are the driving force of Business Southampton. Together we promote the region locally, nationally and internationally for the good of all businesses."

Lizz Clarke, Managing Director of LCM, said, "As soon as we heard about Business Southampton, we agreed to become involved because we have worked with clients in other regions where this kind of initiative is working, and we can see how much it's going to benefit the city over the months and years to come. We are proud to have been selected to promote Sea City for the second year running and it's encouraging to see how readily the suppliers of leisure and tourism in the city are adopting the brand." 

Lizz went on to say, "As an organisation based in Fareham, we have a strong affinity with both Portsmouth and Southampton and we are keen to boost economic and business growth in both cities and, if possible, to encourage joint collaboration between the two to make the South Coast an economic haven for businesses and residents."
