Fareham-based Logical Creative Marketing, winners of the 2007 Best Stand at the popular Business South Exhibition, has announced its theme for this year’s event.

‘It’s time to give your marketing some funKtionality’ will replace last years ‘we market so you grow’ strap line and George Roberts, organiser of LCM’s stand this year is confident LCM can retain the trophy.

He said: “We are going to be even bolder with our statement at this year’s event and hope to encourage visitors to think hard about how marketing can benefit their business and in what ways they can be even more successful. We certainly gave ourselves a high benchmark for our stand last year, and hopefully we can bring the winner’s trophy home again!”

Roberts added: “Our 18th year of business has been a highly eventful one and we will use the exhibition to celebrate our developments and successes. A number of colleagues have joined the LCM team since the last exhibition and they are particularly looking forward to attending.”

LCM Managing Director Lizz Clarke added: “Business South is always an important event in our calendar and has been very successful for us, not only in terms of winning the Best Stand award, but also in the number of leads and new clients we have attracted. It always presents excellent opportunities and we’re looking forward to exhibiting and meeting new people.”

After last year’s successful competition where LCM gave away a 27’’ inch flat-screen LCD television, another stand-stopping game is planned.

This year’s competition will have even more winners with LCM giving away 25 digital prizes for lucky contestants who successfully complete a simple ‘Brand Funktionality’ game, designed to help people gain confidence in their marketing skills.
Roberts explained: “We want to highlight how effective a good logo and strap line can be for businesses and hope this will bring some fun to the stand as well as be part of our informative approach to this year’s event.”

Business South takes place at St. Mary’s Stadium, Southampton on the 5th and 6th of March 2008.
