Fareham PR & Marketing company LCM, has appointed Richard Watts as an Account Executive.

It’s a dream job for the graduate, so much so that he’s relocated over 100 miles from his home in Gloucestershire to join the growing Fareham company.

Rich, who recently celebrated his 21st birthday, has moved to neighbouring Southampton and is thrilled with his first job, after studying at Lancaster University and gaining a 2:1 degree in Advertising and Marketing.

He said: “ To move this distance to a new job in a new area is very daunting but it has definitely paid off. Everyone at LCM has been really welcoming and has helped me to settle in, not just into my new job but also to the area in general.”

He added: “I’m really enjoying the diverse range of work I’m involved in as well as working with some interesting clients. I feel that I’ve hit the ground running; I’ve already learnt a lot and know that I will continue to do so. LCM is definitely a growing company and I look forward to developing my career and facing new challenges that the PR & marketing industry always brings.”

Managing Director Lizz Clarke commented: “To move from Gloucestershire to take up a role where he doesn’t know the area, shows great commitment and determination from Rich. These attributes, as well as his marketing experience will serve him well with LCM. He has settled in extremely well and we’re delighted to have him on board.”

In his spare time Rich enjoys playing football and also represents Southampton Hockey Club.
