Seminars raise funds for St John Ambulance
Fareham-based Logical Creative Marketing has handed over a cheque to St John Ambulance, after money was raised from the company’s successful social media seminars held in conjunction with SFM Consulting. All funds from the seminars will be gratefully received by St John Ambulance and Bourne International Community Centre.
The seminars, which took place in Winchester and Southbourne, attracted some of the county’s up and coming businesses, all of which donated money for the informative presentations featuring forward-thinking from LCM Managing Director Lizz Clarke and SFM Consulting’s Sarah Matthews. The seminars focused on how social media can drive a brand and discussed how social media should be impacting their marketing plans and communications programmes.
Lizz Clarke said: “Although it is clear that social media is now critical to marketing, business owners need to see a clear strategy and a return on investment, we explained how to do this at the seminars.”
She added: “We’re delighted to be handing over this money, which will go towards local St John Ambulance first aid projects. Thank you to all the attendees who were very generous with their time and money. We received some great feedback from the seminars and already attendees tell us they are reaping business benefits through social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.”
