Series of marketing workshops tops feedback chart

29 October 2009 by George Roberts

A series of marketing workshops we have run throughout the year in collaboration with Solent Synergy, the not-for-profit organisation set up to help and grow innovative businesses, have proved to be a popular and resounding success.

Over the past nine months we have run five interactive workshops for 142 business leaders on:

  • Marketing strategy for business growth
  • Branding, reputation and PR
  • Developing the right products, for the right markets, at the right time
  • Getting ahead on the Web
  • Increasing revenue from existing from existing customers through loyalty and relationships

We also ran a workshop with patent attorney’s D Young & Co on how to build a brand and then protect it.

After each event we obtained written feedback, which highlighted an average overall rating of 86%, beating the average for all eleven Solent Synergy events by 4%. The most highly-rated workshops were Getting ahead on the Web and the jointly delivered seminar with D Young & Co scoring 88% and 89% respectively.

George Roberts, Sales and Marketing Manager at LCM, said: “The workshops were designed with the sole focus of giving delegates practical advice and information that they can then go and use in their businesses – so to receive such good feedback is reassurance that we delivered on our objective.”

We will be running our final workshop of the series on Thursday 16 December. For more information please email George Roberts.

Also, please contact George if you would be interested in talking to us about running a similar series of workshops or an individual one for your business, to help your team get a better understanding of marketing.
