Logical Creative Marketing (LCM)

Making the Web work for Personalisation

2 December 2009 by George Roberts

Following on from the recent ROCC annual conference, where LCM's Managing Director Lizz Clarke highlighted that changes due to Personalisation would inevitably lead to changes in communications strategy; we ran a short training seminar with some of ROCC's members to ensure that they tackled their Web comms strategy in the correct manner.

Lizz and our Web Specialist, Jonathan Schofield, gave the short training workshop at the ROCC offices in Southampton on Friday (27 November 2009). The aim was to offer those responsible for Website development and maintenance practical advice on how to implement changes to the online channel which will really make a difference. The focus was on ensuring that not only Websites, but all online communications were accessible, fit for purpose and suited to the particular demands of the health and social care arena.

Participants from third sector organisations and NHS Trusts were keen to develop ways in which they can engage with individuals online, increase the interactivity of their websites and develop a relationship online with their clients.

After the training session, Lizz said: “Personalisation is all about people, and about choice for the individual. This training session was a way to help web managers ensure that they put their users right at the centre of their web development plans.”
