LCM’s SEO offering bolsters digital artillary

14 December 2010 by Colin Salt

More and more business across the South are recognising that digital marketing plays an integral role in the marketing mix and that businesses who don’t make a concerted effort to have their websites leaping and dancing around at the top of the Google rankings, do so at their own peril.

Unfortunately, staying ahead of the digital game, not only takes time, but also continual perseverance as search engines constantly change their algorithms which calculate whose website should display at the top of their search list. So, LCM has launched a new SEO package to take away this burden from business managers, leaving them to concentrate on product and service delivery.

The new product is headed by LCM’s ‘Web Comms’ champion, Colin Salt who has vowed to take on the Matrix and do battle with search engines, keywords and inbound links to ensure client’s websites are easily found by their target audiences.

Colin comments: “the secret is keyword selection – it drives the whole SEO process and shouldn’t be done in 10 minutes by one person. Poor keywords will lead to the entire process failing. Many businesses simply can’t find the time however, but it is good to see they understand the value of SEO are coming to us for help.”

Colin graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Leisure Marketing in 2002 and joined LCM from the fast-paced world of travel, where he spent 4 years as tailor-made holiday specialists. Since then, he has gained considerable knowledge and experience working with some of our larger and long-standing clients and has a flair for building professional and friendly working relationships, driving web projects, and his copywriting skill and marketing knowledge make him the ideal Web manager for clients who need that skill on tap rather than in house.
