This autumn, Logical Creative Marketing is launching Marketing Tweak as a way of prompting business owners to improve their marketing every week of the year.

Marketing Tweak is a list of small tasks that can be carried out quickly and easily to increase results from promotional activities. The list will be posted every Monday to LCM’s Facebook page, and will be an ideal way for people to check off what they can be doing that week to boost their marketing.

Posting to Facebook also means LCM staff will be on hand to answer any questions readers may have about Tweaks and provide assistance to ensure everyone gets the best out of the checklist.

Lizz Clarke, Managing Director of LCM says “If companies are not staying ahead of marketing, they are going to slide backwards in today’s competitive age. We know just how many business owners juggle marketing responsibilities alongside their ‘day job’, and this is a way of helping people to keep things moving forward, little and often.”

Marketing Tweak launches today, Monday 24th September, and can be found here, on LCM's Facebook page.

Social media is what the internet is all about. When the internet first came along it appeared to be a ‘master of all trades’ – a TV, an encyclopaedia, a newspaper and a book all rolled into one. But now the internet is not about presenting content; it’s about sharing content.

Social media allows us quickly and easily to share the things and ideas that we care about with the people we care about.

As an organisation – of whatever size or type - you have lots to share: products you love, ideas you love and you want to share this with the people you care about (your customers and business associates).

And because social media is all about sharing it isn’t only another marketing channel – it is an amplifier of all of your other marketing channels.

Come along to our seminar to find out more, to get answers to your questions, and to see how LCM can help you to use Social Media to your benefit. Email sue@lcm.co.uk to book your place.

More and more business across the South are recognising that digital marketing plays an integral role in the marketing mix and that businesses who don’t make a concerted effort to have their websites leaping and dancing around at the top of the Google rankings, do so at their own peril.

Unfortunately, staying ahead of the digital game, not only takes time, but also continual perseverance as search engines constantly change their algorithms which calculate whose website should display at the top of their search list. So, LCM has launched a new SEO package to take away this burden from business managers, leaving them to concentrate on product and service delivery.

The new product is headed by LCM’s ‘Web Comms’ champion, Colin Salt who has vowed to take on the Matrix and do battle with search engines, keywords and inbound links to ensure client’s websites are easily found by their target audiences.

Colin comments: “the secret is keyword selection – it drives the whole SEO process and shouldn’t be done in 10 minutes by one person. Poor keywords will lead to the entire process failing. Many businesses simply can’t find the time however, but it is good to see they understand the value of SEO are coming to us for help.”

Colin graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Leisure Marketing in 2002 and joined LCM from the fast-paced world of travel, where he spent 4 years as tailor-made holiday specialists. Since then, he has gained considerable knowledge and experience working with some of our larger and long-standing clients and has a flair for building professional and friendly working relationships, driving web projects, and his copywriting skill and marketing knowledge make him the ideal Web manager for clients who need that skill on tap rather than in house.
