Logical Creative Marketing (LCM)

The people behind LCM

We make sure you have the right people spending the right time on the right tasks for the right results. You can count on the sound expertise of the following…

Our team

  1. Lizz Clarke

Lizz founded LCM in 1988 when, as a young working mum she was offered the position of Marketing Director at a famous international training organisation and negotiated instead to carry out the work as an outsource from home. The client's marketing success was extraordinary and highly visible, her reputation grew and so did the team around her. Lizz’s strengths are in devising growth strategies, developing creative PR and marketing campaigns, and copywriting.

  2. Sue Gorrett

Sue is LCM's 'visual whizz' adding a wealth of creative expertise and a keen eye to all our graphics, advertising and merchandise projects. Her marketing career began in 1982 and she has extensive knowledge of print media, design and production. She has worked for a number of in-house marketing departments, consultancies and successfully ran her own PR, marketing and graphic design agency for 9 years before moving to England. Sue's vibrancy, adeptness, and wealth of experience adds a huge helping of je ne sais quoi to each and every client she deals with.

  3. Debbie Laycock

Debbie is the power behind our media and press relations and she has a way of working with them to maximise uptake of your editorial mentions. Debbie is able to generate press releases on the turn and get them into the press while they are still hot news. She will also track your mentions in print and online and provide you with regular reports on your project. Debbie’s organised and tenacious style means that she won’t let go of a job until it has been completed – on time and to budget.

  4. Kat Priest

Kat is our newest member – a good all-rounder with a clear understanding of meeting client expectations. Kat can turn her hand to a number of editorial styles and works quickly and efficiently to get the work done. Kat worked in the marketing department at Southampton University and has gained good knowledge of targeted, sales-oriented marketing. She knows what works and has quickly learnt to adapt her style to sort our many varied clients.

  5. Annette Moran

Annette has a background in business finance and administration and immediately prior to joining LCM was director of a marketing agency serving a highly specialist niche. Responsible for finance, administration, HR and IT, she makes it her business to drive our client-focused team members to greater and greater effectiveness. Annette is hugely popular with everyone here, and with clients and suppliers alike. She is married with three grown up children and a baby grandson (although you definitely would not guess it to look at Annette!), and spends most of her life on her boat.

  6. Angus Robertson

Angus Robertson works exclusively with one of our clients as a business development executive specialising in cosmetic science. Angus was the school geek, rubbish at sports but loved learning about how the world worked, so it was no surprise to anyone that after leaving school he found a Job in a lab.

After his HNC in Chemistry, he moved into operational and subsequently technical support and business development roles. He completed his MBA in 2000.

Angus is known for his sun glasses and snazzy hat, and annoys his neighbours by playing his vintage Fender Stratocaster very loudly (when his wife is away).

Our associates

  1. Jonathan Schofield

Way back, Jonathan's passion for Letraset font books led inevitably to a career in graphic and brand design. His inner geek was drawn like a moth to the light of the web in 1997 and he hasn't escaped its glow yet. He represented GB at Ultimate Frisbee for many years but now dedicates himself to keeping his end up with web standards, being a dad and being greener. Jonathan on Twitter.

  2. Carl Lamerton

Carl is our creative consultant and studied as a designer and illustrator at St. Martin’s School of Art in the late 80s. It’s here that he first developed his high creative standards and an eye for balanced design. From there he entered the world of advertising at the Mallerman Summerfield Group. In the intervening 22 years, he has honed his skills on projects for blue chip players like McCanns, Saatchis, Publicis, CDP and more. Over the years he has developed a strong brand portfolio in a broad range of businesses, including Adidas, Esso, University of Surrey and Crewsaver, as well as brand development work for Lockheed Martin.

He also created a clothing/jeans brand which he sold to Richard Branson in person, as well as naming and branding a company for Powergen.

  3. David Bridger

Our strategic consultant David has 22 years of marketing experience and has held positions with Microsoft (14 years), IBM and NCR, as well as director positions within smaller companies such as market research company, Knowledge Partners, and retailer Flujo.

With his immense range of experience and qualifications, David provides LCM's clients with Marketing Strategy and Planning advice, Brand Value Propositions, help with Product and Service Development, Launches & Marketing Programmes and Thought Leadership marketing.

  4. Paul Boden

Paul is our freelance new business Manager and has worked in business development for over 20 years. He initially started out working for London based advertising agencies in the  early1990's where he learnt his trade, and he was closely involved in the winning of major clients that included Habitat and Choice Hotels. His love of travel took him to Melbourne, Australia in the late-1990's where he became fundraising Manager for some leading charitable organisations including 'Barnardo's' and 'Homeless'. Since returning to the UK, Paul has set up his own business and has worked with a wide ranging cross section of businesses helping them to win more clients. He says ' it is vital that for a business to consistently grow, a steady amount of leads need to be created and managed effectively'. Areas of expertise include design and print, automotive, travel, IT and retail.  Apart from his love of travel, in his spare time Paul is a licensed tennis coach and enjoys health and fitness.
